Jehovah’s Witnesses inspect the pool Sunday inflated inside the Augusta Civic Center during the spring assembly for members of the denomination from Central Maine. Over 1,900 people attended the service that featured baptisms in the pool, according to Joseph Elliott, of Augusta. The Jehovah’s Witnesses cleaned up the Civic Center after a circus Saturday in exchange for a reduced cost to rent the auditorium.
