GREEN VALLEY, Arizona — Ralph and Sheryal Atkins of Green Valley, Arizona are thrilled to announce the wedding of their son, Nathan Atkins and daughter-in-law, Amanda Phillips Atkins. Amanda grew up in Salem, Oregon with her parents, Mark and Sally Phillips, and her sister, Sabryna.

Nathan and Amanda were married on the beach in beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Oct. 15, 2011, with friends and family witnessing their vows.

The Atkins family, from Waterville, Maine, has migrated west within the past 10 years.

Nathan and Amanda currently live in Los Angeles with their dogs, Moxie and Chowder.

Nathan earned a B.S. degree in Cinema and Photography and a minor in Spanish from Ithaca College in New York, and now works as an entertainment writer and outdoor education professional.

Amanda is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University where she earned a B.A. in Film and Television Production and a minor in English. She is employed by Larry Levinson Productions, producing movies for the Hallmark Channel and other television networks.

Nathan’s brother, Matthew, served as best man with Michael Fulling and Richard Houghton as groomsmen. Sabryna was Amanda’s maid of honor with bridesmaids, Ann Haggerty and Amber Elwood. Monique and Christopher Fulling were the flower girl and the ring bearer.
