SKOWHEGAN — James and Gale Whittemore of Skowhegan have announced the engagement of their son, Adam Whittemore of Boston, Mass. to Stephanie Derewiany, also of Boston, daughter of Craig and Virginia Derewiany of East Freetown, Mass.

Stephanie received her degree at Boston University and is currently finishing her second year at Suffolk University Law School in Boston.

Adam is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. He works at State Street Corporation in Boston.

The couple met in May 2009 while working together at State Street Corporation. They enjoy traveling together and are looking forward to their wedding on July 27, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nev., where they were engaged last summer atop the Stratosphere Tower.
