The earth is 4.5 billion years old. How do you explain the number of cool-downs and warm-ups that had occurred in our atmosphere before the Industrial Revolution of 350 years ago?

But the article also served as a reminder to think about lakes as a natural resource that needs ongoing protection. Just because there are thousands of beautiful lakes in Maine doesn’t mean we should take their beauty for granted. I salute the Volunteer Monitoring Program for its work in protecting Maine lakes.
