Priscilla Jenkins is running to represent voters in Senate District 21.

While we are of different political parties, we have come to know and respect each other for a number reasons. Consequently, I am writing a letter of support and urge voters to seriously consider voting for her during the primary on June 12.

I am impressed with Jenkins’ intelligence and experience and her willingness to consider all sides of an issue before she casts a vote. She will study, research and discuss an issue to make herself as informed as possible before making a commitment. If the vote is different from what she has worked for, she will continue to work for the good of the general populace as well as continuing to support what she believes in.

I trust her judgment to work for a compromise if necessary for the overall best solution.
