Tess Gioia and her father, Jim, select fishing gear Sunday in a downpour at the confluence of Cobbossee Stream at the Kennebec River in Gardiner.  The elder Gioia said casting is a Sunday tradition with his daughter, who caught and released a bass in the rain swollen Kennebec River.
