NEWTON, Mass. — Stuart Goldman and Christine Franz-Goldman of Newton, Mass. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Goldman, to Colby Carrier, son of Bruce and Rachael Carrier of Winslow.

Danielle is a 2005 graduate of The Brimmer and May School and a 2009 graduate of Clark University in Worcester, Mass. with a B.A. in Psychology. She will begin graduate school at Boston College this fall.

Colby is a 2005 graduate of Winslow High School and a 2009 graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. with a B.S. in Economics. He is a MH60S Knighthawk helicopter pilot in the US Navy and is stationed in Norfolk, Va.

A December 2012 wedding in Boston is planned.
