CHELSEA — William Schoenthaler of Chelsea and Ann Thiboutot of China Village have announced the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Schoenthaler of Boston to Gregory Waxman of Boston, originally of Florida, son of Michael Waxman and Charlotte Waxman of Plantation, Fla.

Carrie is a 2002 graduate of Waterville High School and a 2006 graduate of Newbury College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. She is employed at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston.

Gregory is a 1998 graduate of the University School of Nova Southeastern and a 2002 graduate of Boston University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is employed at TA Associates Realty in Boston.

A May 17, 2013, wedding is planned.
