WATERVILLE — Lincoln scored five runs in the top of the first inning on its way to a 7-6 win over Waterville in an American Legion baseball Zone 2 game Monday.

Waterville (2-4) scored three in the bottom of the first and took a 6-5 lead in the third. Lincoln finished out the scoring in the fourth, scoring two runs with the help of a Waterville error and a double by Jason Weatherbee.

Brandon Riley shut out the Beavers over the final four innings to earn the win for Lincoln.
