AUGUSTA — Dr. Jennifer Diehl, a primary-care physician, recently joined Augusta Family Medicine and is a member of MaineGeneral Medical Center’s active medical staff.
She earned her medical degree from University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in Sint Eustatius, Netherland-Antilles. She did her residency training at University of Tennessee Family Practice Residency, St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., according to a MaineGeneral news release.
Diehl was a family medicine physician at Sebasticook Valley Hospital Family Care in Pittsfield. She also provided nursing home care and was a hospitalist. She has a special interest in dermatology and geriatrics.
Burgess joins
Children’s Center
AUGUSTA — The Children’s Center recently announced that Danny Burgess, vice president and chief information officer of MaineGeneral Health, has joined its board of directors.
Burgess, of Waterville, brings a technical background and strong community focus to benefit the Children’s Center. His is a member of the United Way of Mid Maine Board of Directors and serves on the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute committee.
Other board members include Dana Hamilton, president; Patsy Garside Crockett, vice president; Elisa Paylor, treasurer; Don Lemieux, secretary; Elizabeth Pohl; Fernand LaRochelle; Randy Liberty; Maria Hays; Diane Smith Howard; Lori Fowle; and Julie Shephard.
