I totally agree with Earlene Mitchell’s statement in the newspaper’s Readers Opinion of July 21.

Alan Kelley, although not a lifelong Democrat, has always given the utmost support and loyalty to former great district attorneys (David Crook and Evert Fowle). Kelley sets the bar as a lawyer and as a man with integrity.

Regardless of who is on the ballot in the upcoming election for DA, I shall write in Alan Kelley.
