I just read George Smith’s Aug. 1 column, “Our governor should be proud promoter of all things Maine.” Can we please make him governor?

Smith certainly hit the nail on the head regarding Maine, its governor and its people. He loves Maine. He’s well spoken, smart and articulate. In fact, he embodies all the attributes that our current governor lacks.
