The Commission to Study the Conduct of Elections in Maine is scheduled to hold seven additional public hearings across the state.

* Portland: 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Rines Auditorium, Portland Public Library

* Bangor: 5:30 p.m. Sept. 13, Bangor City Hall

* Farmington: 5:45 p.m. Sept. 27, Olsen Student Center Dining Hall, University of Maine Farmington

* Lewiston: 5:30 p.m. Oct. 4, Lewiston High School

* Wells: 5:30 p.m. Oct. 25, Mid-Cafe, York County Community College Hearings also will be be held in Presque Isle and Machias in November, but no details have been set.
