SKOWHEGAN — The first day of school for students of Skowhegan-based Regional School Unit/School Administrative District 54 (Canaan, Cornville, Mercer, Norridgewock, Skowhegan and Smithfield) is Wednesday.

School hours for all schools are 8:15 a.m.-2:15 p.m. School nutrition prices for the 2012-13 school year are as follows: Elementary schools breakfast, $1; lunch, $1.85. Middle and high school breakfast, $1; lunch, 2.40, with reduced lunch for all schools – $.40.
