VASSALBORO — The Vassalboro Public Library will hold its 54th annual book and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the East Vassalboro Grange. It includes books of all varieties, baked goods, and bidding for the library’s silent auction. A quilt raffle will also be featured.

A special preview book sale will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, will be available for Vassalboro Public Library Association members as well as those who chose to join that evening. Cost for membership is $10 for an individual and $20 for a family.

A $1 per bag bargain sale will be 9 a.m.-noon Sunday, Sept. 9. Proceeds will benefit operating costs and book purchases.
