HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations will offer a free seminar, “Outsmarting Financial Fraud and Elder Abuse,” from 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 10 at the William S. Cohen Community Center.

All are welcome and retired or retirement-age adults are especially encouraged to attend.

There will be information about recognizing the signs of current financial scams and how to report scams. A 45-minute train-the-trainer session will follow the presentation.
