SKOWHEGAN — Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County, Inc. will offer several grief support groups beginning Wednesday at its office at 41 Main St. There is no cost to attend and all meetings are confidential. Each group will meet for 6-8 sessions.

The following groups are planned:

* Survivors of Suicide (for those who have lost a loved one to suicide) begins Wednesday. The group will meet 10-11:30 a.m.

* Widows, widowers, partners or significant others will start Tuesday, Sept. 11. This group will meet 1-2:30 p.m.

* What will I do when…? For those facing the death of a loved one will be held Wednesdays beginning Sept. 12. The sessions are set for 3-4:30 p.m.

* Loss of a child (any age) will begin meeting Wednesday, Sept. 12, 1-2:30 p.m.

* A general grief group is slated to meet in Pittsfield. Details are not yet final. Please call the office for more information.
