FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Office of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, 138 Pleasant St., will offer a three-hour food preservation workshop from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.
Felicia Dumont, Cooperative Extension food preservation program aide, will teach the class. Cost is $15; make the check payable to University of Maine Cooperative Extension.
Pre-registration and prepayment is required. The maximum number of participants is 10. The minimum number needed to hold the workshop is 8. The deadline to register is Friday, Sept. 21.
