A 24-year-old woman was charged with operating after suspension during a traffic stop for a defective license plate light on Route 3.

Sunday

A woman believed to be suffering a medical problem fell off a motorcycle while riding as a passenger on Route 3. A LifeFlight helicopter arrived to take her to a trauma hospital, but the woman instead was taken by ambulance to MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
