At 11:22 p.m., two Augusta men were arrested by police conducting a pedestrian check on Water Street: Anthony R. Mabe, 19, was charged with violating conditions of release, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and sale and use of drug paraphernalia; and Nicolas J. Feugill, 20, was arrested on warrants charging failure to appear.

At 2:02 a.m., Jacob A. Norton, 22, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant at the Kennebec County jail on State Street.

2:32 p.m., Nicole Ellis, 26, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of theft by police responding to a shoplifting complaint at the Hannaford supermarket on Cony Street.
