WINTHROP — Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center seeks volunteers to help plan their annual major fundraiser, a celebrity dinner set for May 4, 2013. The first meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Sept. 25 at the center’s administrative offices in the Winthrop Commerce Center, 149 Main St., fourth floor.

Volunteers will held with decorating, work with event sponsors, celebrity recruitment, marketing and more.

No special training is required. The fundraising team meets monthly until the event has taken place.
