VASSALBORO — Defending Class C state champion St. Dominic of Auburn defeated Winthrop 61⁄2-1⁄2 for the Mountain Valley Conference golf championship Monday on the Arrowhead Course at Natanis Golf Course. Zach DeBlois of St. Dom’s was medalist with 37 and joined his teammates in posting a four-person score of 161. Winthrop shot a team score of 180.

GED test replacement deadline approaching
