FALMOUTH — Route 26 in Falmouth, between Hurricane Road and Kimball Way in Falmouth, remains closed Thursday night as crews work to replace a utility pole that was knocked over by a state-owned plow truck.

A dispatcher for the Falmouth Police Department said a plow truck operated by a driver from the Maine Department of Transportation struck the Central Maine Power Company pole at 5:09 p.m.

The road is expected to reopen once the utility pole has been replaced. No injuries were reported. State police investigated.
