Elks support food banks with donation
MADISON — Skowhegan-Madison Elks Lodge Exalted Ruler Ronald Voisine and Secretary Michael Lange recently presented a $1,000 check from the Elks National Foundation to the People Who Care Food Bank in Madison.

Free Food Program begins June 18
SKOWHEGAN — The Skowhegan Parks and Recreation Department will serve free nutritious meals from June 18 through Aug. 24. at the Skowhegan Community Center, 39 Poulin Drive. There are no registration, no questions and no restrictions, just show up. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
