ALBION — Albion Lions Club and PTA will sponsor an ice fishing derby for all ages from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Lovejoy Pond, off Marden Shore.

Cost is $2 per trap, five trap maximum. There will be prizes for 15-year-olds and younger and 16-year-olds and older.

This is a free fishing day in Maine, no fishing license will be required. There will be a free learn to fish clinic by the State of Maine Hooked on Fishing — Not on Drugs Program from 9 to 11 a.m.

Albion Elementary PTA will sell food and drinks.
