It was nice to see a story about Don Reny, volunteer cook (Amy Calder’s column, March 4).

I worked as a volunteer with Don at Senior Spectrum, in the Meals on Wheels program and found Don to be always upbeat, friendly and truly devoted to the work he was doing.

A funny man, he always kept the kitchen in a good mood and the workers laughing. I hope he gets to do the work he loves for a long time.
