LITCHFIELD — A single-vehicle crash early today that broke a utility pole cut off power to residents in Bowdoin, Litchfield and Sabattus for almost an hour and a half.

State police investigated the crash that occurred at 6:21 a.m. on Buker Road.

John Carroll, spokesman for Central Maine Power Company, said electricity was restored by 7:42 a.m.

No information was immediately available about any injuries.
