AUGUSTA — Bayleigh Logan scored four goals and Emily Quirion added a pair to lead the Cony girls lacrosse team past Gardiner 9-5 on Saturday afternoon.
Hayley Quirion and Josie Lee each scored a goal and an assist for Cony (6-3). Haley Hanks scored a goal and Izzy Eanes had nine saves for the victors as well.
Ali Day had four goals and Emma Hickey added a goal to lead the Tigers (8-2).
Softball
Richmond 8-13, Forest Hills 4-1: Jamie Plummer earned wins in both games and Payton Johnson had three singles to lead the Bobcats (11-0).
Plummer struck out 10 and walked just two in a complete-game victory in the opener. She pitched four innings in relief of Ciarra Lancaster.
Josie Hoyt had a pair of doubles and three RBIs to pace Forest Hills (6-7).
Hall-Dale 3, Madison 2: Hall-Dale rallied with two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning thanks to four walks and a hit batter.
Zach McNaughton walked to bring home Nick Sinclair with the winning run for the Bulldogs (7-5).
Madison dropped to 6-8.
Erskine 14, Hampden 12: Kaitlyn Sutter had two singles and four RBIs to lead the Eagles to a KVAC A win on Friday over the Broncos in Hampden.
Alison Gauvin had three singles, a double and three RBIs, while Emma Robertson hit two singles and a double for Erskine (6-6).
Nicole MacDougal had a double for Hampden (3-9).
Baseball
Hampden 6, Erskine 3: Matt Palmer and Logan Steward doubled to lead the Broncos to the KVAC A win Friday night.
Mike Ward pitched four innings to earn the victory for Hampden (10-1).
Josh Bailey had two singles and a pair of RBIs to lead the Eagles (4-8).
