Voisine and other Kennebec Valley Garden Club members got help from about a dozen Cony sophomores as part the school annual United Way Day of Caring. Groups of students spent the morning across the city doing volunteer projects before returning to school for a cookout.

The park is located behind the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce office on University Drive.
