WATERVILLE — The Quarry Road Summer Race Series is a new 10-week trail running series to benefit the Alfond Youth Center and Quarry Road Recreation Area.

Each week participants will complete different courses of varying lengths from 3k-10k, utilizing the area’s trail system. Along with the featured race each week, will be a free kid’s fun run for children 12 and younger.

Races will be held weekly on Tuesday nights from June 4 through Aug. 6. Registration opens at 5 p.m., with the free kids fun run at 5:30 p.m., followed by awards; and the featured face at 6 p.m., also followed by awards.
