UNITY — Farm & Homestead Day, a free event that will offer hands-on and interactive sessions on farming and homesteading skills, will be held Saturday, June 15, at the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association’s Common Ground Education Center on Crosby Brook Road.

A schedule of events is posted at mofga.org. These workshops take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those who attend are encouraged to dress appropriately for this rain or shine event, and bring a picnic lunch. Volunteers are welcome.
