PERKINS TOWNSHIP — A Dixfield woman sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident this morning, after her car hit a tree and then a rock along Route 156.

Deidre Cochran, 19, lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve around 9 a.m., according to a news release from Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols.

Weld Fire Department and Northstar ambulance responded to the accident but Cochran refused medical treatment, Nichols said.
