I have a reminder for all fellow drivers: When they see someone on their bicycle on the road, they should be careful and not pass a car that has stopped for them in a crosswalk. They may hit them.

I almost got hit twice in one day and both times I was in a crosswalk with my bike. Yes, some people stop for us and I thank all who do. Some drivers go around the people who stop, however, and that’s how I almost got hit twice in one day.

So, if these people would drive more carefully and stop hurrying, they might save a life.
