8:00 p.m., Timothy Norman Jennings, 34, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of theft by authorized taking or transfer and criminal trespass by police responding to a report of shoplifting at Cumberland Farms convenience store on Mount Vernon Avenue.
11:45 p.m., Douglas Philip Williams, 36, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence with one prior and on a warrant by police making a motor vehicle stop near Shenanigan’s on Water Street.
