Plans to renovate the site of the iconic Skowhegan Indian sculpture, and to change the sculpture’s orientation, drew criticism from selectmen Tuesday, which was welcomed by the executive director of Main Street Skowhegan.

The new generation of ships will feature increased range and endurance, more powerful weapons, better surveillance and a larger flight deck.

Bravo’s Southwest Bistro will open for dinner some night this week, in the same building as Cafe de Bangkok, before a full phase-in next week, owner Jim Remley said.
