Gardiner Police Officer Dan Murray photographs a SUV that accidentally backed into a building owned by the Bank of Maine Thursday, on Water Street in Gardiner. The operator briefly lost control of the vehicle due to a medical condition, Murray said, before striking the building, a parked vehicle and light pole. The driver was examined by Gardiner rescue but didn’t warrant additional medical attention, Murray said. The building sustained minimal damage.
