MONMOUTH — Kylie Kemp had 20 points, 17 rebounds, and four steals as Monmouth defeated Lisbon 50-43 in a Mountain Valley Conference girls basketball game Monday.
Monmouth (11-7) led by eight at halftime, but Lisbon outscored the Mustangs 11-5 in the third quarter to stay in the game. Adrianna White scored 13 points, Bree Sautter added 11, and Kipri Steele chipped in with nine for Lisbon (5-13).
Sidney Wilson added 16 points for Monmouth, and Paxton Lessard scored seven.
RICHMOND 46, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 23: Kelsea Anair had 16 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks to lead the Bobcats to the win in Richmond.
Morgan Harrington added nine points and five rebounds for Richmond (8-9).
Kylene DeSmith led Seacoast (7-10) with eight points.
OAK HILL 48, BOOTHBAY 38: Sadie Goulet scored 13 points to lead the visiting Raiders to the MVC win.
Jamie Prue added 11 points for Oak Hill (14-4) while Brianna Mulherin chipped in with 10.
Boothbay (7-11) was led by Morgan Crocker with 24 points.
BOYS BASKETBALL
ST. DOMINIC 49, WINTHROP 43: Matt Dyer scored 17 points to lead the Saints to the MVC win in Winthrop.
Cameron Raymond chipped in with 11 points for St. Dominic (6-12).
Freshman Jacob Hickey scored 14 points for Winthrop (14-4) while Taylor Morang had nine.
