ORONO — Travis S. Russell, 20, formally of Skowhegan, achieved a 4.0 grade-point average in the electrical engineering program in the 2014 spring semester at the University of Maine.

He is the son of Catherine B. Chapman, of Skowhegan, and the late Ronald Russell.
