CANTON, N.Y. — Thomas R. Quinn IV, of Waterville, was one of nearly 550 students who were awarded degrees at St. Lawrence University’s Commencement ceremony on May 18. Quinn IV was awarded a degree in Asian studies — government.

PLYMOUTH N.H. — Kaitlyn Marie Deering, of Sidney, graduated cum laude from Plymouth State Universityo n May 17 with a bachelor of science degree in athletic training. She plans to attend graduate school at Adams State University in Colorado in the fall. Deering is a 2010 graduate of Messalonskee High School.
