I was glad to see that David Bustin is running for the state Senate in the June 10 primary election (newspaper, May 27). Bustin certainly has deep experience in both state and local government and will make an immediate impact in the upcoming Legislature.

Dave’s experience as a mediator will come in handy, especially if there is as much wrangling and bad feelings as we’ve seen in recent legislative sessions. Helping people in conflict work together to come to agreement is a talent that will come in handy in the state senate.

I’ll be voting for Dave Bustin in the June 10 Democratic primary.
