ROCKPORT — The Waterville Senior High School baseball team scored eight runs in the top of the seventh inning to earn a 12-4 win over Camden Hills in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference play.

With the win, Waterville closes the regular season at 14-2 and will be the top seed in the Eastern Class B tournament. Camden Hills is 12-4.

Camden Hills took an early 2-0 lead on a two-run homer by Connor Graffam in the first inning.

AJ Godin drove in a pair of runs for Waterville, and earned the win on the mound. Kaleb Kane executed a suicide squeeze bunt in the seventh, scoring Dan Pooler, for the Panthers.

GIRLS LACROSSE

SOUTH PARIS — Emily Quirion scored seven goals and Hayley Quirion added a pair of goals and six assists to lead the Cony girls lacrosse team to a16-9 win over Oxford Hills.

Becca Conniff added two goals for the Rams (9-3).

Coley Zufelt scored four goals to lead the Vikings (2-10).
