FRANKLIN — Amos Herrin struck out 12, walked one and allowed just three hits to lead Franklin past Red Barn in an American Legion Zone 2 game Tuesday.

Charlie Martin had a pair of singles for Franklin (4-2), while Anthony Franchetti belted a two-run double. Ryan Sinclair had a single and a double for Red Barn (3-4) and Tayler Carrier also had a double.

THE FIRST 6, POST 51 O: Winning pitcher Nick Mazurek and J.T. Tobin each belted home runs in a win over Post 51. On the mound Mazurek allowed four hits, struck out 11 and walked none, while Drew Townsend chipped in with an RBI double.
