WINSLOW — Mr. and Mrs. Louis Goodwin were given a party Aug. 16, 2014, in celebration of their 75th wedding anniversary.

Goodwin and the former Rachael Mathieu were married Aug. 12, 1939, at St. Sebastian in Madison by Father Fisher.

Mrs. Goodwin is retired. She was employed by Madison School District.

Goodwin also is retired. He was employed by Norrwock Shoe and Madison School District.

They have two sons, Peter and his wife, Rae, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Paul and his wife, Jen, of Madison; eight grandchildren, Michelle, Mark, Anita, Danny, Erica, Christina, Ryan and Adam; and nine great-grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Katie, Tristan, Abbey, Makayla, Damian, Cayden and Mason.

The party was held at the Lobster Trap Restaurant.

Guests attended from Waterville, Winslow, Madison, China, Smithfield, Oakland, and Hill, N.H.
