Dr. Craig Szela, of Augusta, Maine, and Dr. Carly Peterson, of Merritt, British Columbia, were united in marriage Aug. 16, 2014, at St. Mary’s Church in Augusta. Craig’s parents are Michael and Ellen Szela, of Augusta. Carly’s parents traveled from Tasmania, Australia.

The bride and groom were attended by Roisin McElroy as the matron of honour and Phillip Szela as best man.

The reception was celebrated with loved ones at the Szela’s home with delicious food, wonderful speeches, and dancing by all late into the night.

Craig and Carly will continue to reside in Manhattan with their three dogs: Jack, Diane and Hunnie, until Craig finishes his residency in Family Practice.
