AUGUSTA — The United Volunteers of Maine has announced the dates of its upcoming haunted houses.

Set up in the old Circuit City building next to Dick’s Sporting Goods at the Marketplace at Augusta, the haunted house will take place starting at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 17, 18, 24-31 and Nov. 1.

The cost is $10 per person. Proceeds will benefit community groups including the Richmond Boy Scouts, Richmond High School class of 2017, Erskine Academy class of 2015 and the South End Teen Center of Waterville.
