MANCHESTER —The Augusta Symphony Orchestra will start its 2014-15 season with a performance of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony and the Brahms’ Serenade No. 1 on Saturday evening, Nov. 8, at Hope Baptist Church, Western Avenue.

The concert will be dedicated to the memory of the late Katy Perry, formerly of Hallowell, longtime patron of the orchestra and other arts organizations throughout the Augusta area, according to a news release from the Augusta Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets cost $10 for adults and are free for children and students. Snow date will be 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9. For more information, visit www.augustasymphonymaine.org.
