WINSLOW — Virginia and Osborne Ellis recently celebrated 65 years of marriage at a family and friends party at their home in Winslow.

“Jinny” and “Oz” were married by the Rev. Henry Shillington at the Bourne (Massachusetts) Methodist Church on July 30, 1949.

Their family includes their daughter, Laura Muzerolle, and her husband, David, of Nevada, daughter Jan Snitzer and her husband, Steven, of Needham, Mass., son Dana Ellis and his wife, Aletha, of Belgrade, and son Matthew Ellis and his wife, Linda, of Winthrop. They are also blessed with seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
