Kate Dufour is running for the Hallowell City Council, and I know that if elected, she will do a terrific job representing the residents of Ward 1.

Kate is a problem-solver. She approaches challenges with an open mind, and works feverishly and collaboratively to develop solutions.

Having worked on municipal issues throughout her entire career, Kate has a wealth of knowledge from which to draw, which will be of great benefit to the council.

She is strong with finances, and will balance the need to invest responsibly in our city with managing tight budgets.

Perhaps most importantly, Kate is a good listener who will always take the time to listen to residents’ concerns. She will play fair, treat people with respect, and work hard for all the people of Hallowell.

I hope residents in Hallowell’s Ward 1 will vote for Kate Dufour on Nov. 4.
