The speed limit on the Maine Turnpike remains lowered for the entire length of the highway because of snowy conditions Monday.

The speed limit had earlier been restored to normal, but was lowered again at 9:52 a.m. at the request of the Maine State Police, the Maine Turnpike Authority reports on its website.
