FARMINGDALE — Dani Sweet and Kayla Johnson combined for 25 points to lead Hall-Dale past Monmouth 40-38 in Mountain Valley Conference girls basketball action Tuesday.
Sweet finished with 13 points while Johnson added 12 for the Bulldogs (9-3).
Haley West scored 11 points to lead the Mustangs (9-4) and Sidney Wilson chipped in 10.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
COLBY 86, MAINE MARITIME 64: Sam Willson scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Mules beat the Mariners in Waterville.
Luke Westman scored nine point, while Chris Hudnut added 13 points for Colby (11-6, 3-1 NASCAC).
Nick Holt scored 19 points for Maine Maritime.
WOMEN’S HOCKEY
COLBY 6, UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 3: Lauren Guarente scored three goals to pace the Mules to a non-conference win over the Nor’easters in Biddeford.
Katie McLaughlin, Maddie Dewhirst and Bella Papapetros also scored goals for Colby (8-7).
Shannon Smith led UNE (4-9-3) with a pair of goals.
